POINT!

The trigeminal (number V cranial nerve) functions as the nerve for mastication, sensation of the cornea, conjunctiva, nasal cavity, oral cavity and face.

顔面の感覚は三叉神経（第Ⅴ脳神経）、表情筋の運動は顔面神経（第Ⅶ脳神経）の働きです。

鼻がムズムズする、鼻毛を抜いたら痛かった、などの鼻腔の感覚が三叉神経（第Ⅴ脳神経）、クンクンにおいをかぐ嗅覚は嗅神経（第Ⅰ脳神経）の働きです。
お茶が熱い、冷たいなどの温度覚、怪我などによる痛覚が口腔の感覚であり、三叉神経（第Ⅴ脳神経）の働きです。おいしい／まずいなどの味覚は顔面神経（第Ⅶ脳神経）、舌咽神経（第Ⅸ脳神経）、迷走神経（第Ⅹ脳神経）の働きです。

眼にごみが入って痛い、アレルギーでかゆいなどの結膜、角膜、口腔の感覚は三叉神経（第Ⅴ脳神経）の働きです。「見える」視覚は視神経（第Ⅱ脳神経）の働きです。

咀嚼の筋は三叉神経（第Ⅴ脳神経）の働き、表情筋は顔面神経（第Ⅶ脳神経）の働き、嚥下は舌咽神経（第Ⅸ脳神経）、迷走神経（第Ⅹ脳神経）の働きです。
