① Let's say, summer came. Room temperature becomes high due to the summer heat. A Cooler decreases room temperature. These are in the opposite direction (blue).
② Since these are in the opposite direction, negative feedback inhibits (blue) the heater (function, such as by turning the power off). Because of this, the room temperature-raising effect of the heater weakens, and the rise in room temperature (red upward unfilled arrow) fades away (high room temperature lowers to the original room temperature).
This simply says, when the room temperature is high (during summer), heaters are not used.
