EnergyMetabolism/NutrientAndEnergy/ChemicalEnergyOfNutrient
栄養素には、原子をひとつの分子に結合させている化学的エネルギーがあり、栄養素が細胞内に入ると、細胞へエネルギーが供給される。 |
To obtain energy, cell takes in nutrients from outside. There is a large amount of energy in the nutrient. The energy is chemical energy, shown in red lines, which connect the atoms, such as carbon (C), hydrogen (H) , and oxygen (O) in the nutrient into one molecule. When a nutrient enters a cell, shown in green arrow, chemical energy of nutirient also enter the cell, as shown in red arrow.
Please be noted that the nutrients shown above, are not carbohydrate nor lipid. This is a fictional nutrient, which has many carbon, hydrogen, oxygen atoms and can be equally divided into two.
Challenge Quiz
For muscle cells to contract, it is neccesary for the nutrient to be kept outside of the muscle cell to enter inside the cell from outside of the muscle cell .
Chemical energy, used in cell activity. such as the muscle contraction are inside the atoms connecting the atoms into one molecule of the nutrient.
For muscle contraction, chemical electrical energy of the nutrient is required.
