POINT!

When room temperature is low, negative feedback inhibits heater (function).

① Let's say, winter came. Room temperature becomes low due to the winter coldness. A Heater raises room temperature. These are in the same direction (red).

② Since these are in the opposite direction, negative feedback inhibits (blue) the heater (function, such as by turning the power on). Because of this, the room temperature-raising effect of the heater weakens, and the rise in room temperature (red upward unfilled arrow) fades away (high room temperature lowers to the original room temperature).

② これらは逆の方向（青）であるため、負のフィードバックはヒーター（の機能）を（電源をつけるなどして）亢進（赤）させます。ヒーターの室温上昇作用は増強し、低下していた室温は元の室温へ向けて上昇します。
室温が低い時（冬）にヒーターは使う、と言うだけのことです。
