The functions of the nervous system in the human body include:

working hard (without being told to do so)

High level abilities in humans (thinking, creating, judging, memorizing) and basic functions in humans and animals (emotions, desire, instinct, control of the consciousness level including sleep, control of internal environment, blood pressure, respiration, and organs needed to maintain life, the motor system that moves the arms and legs, the sensory system that notifies the changes in external and internal environments, etc) are all functions of the nervous system.
