① Let's say, winter came. Room temperature becomes low due to the winter coldness. A Cooler lowers room temperature. These are in the same direction (red).
② Since these are in the same direction, negative feedback inhibits (blue) the cooler (function, such as by turning the power off). Because of this, the room temperature-lowering effect of the cooler weakens, and the lowering in room temperature (blue downward unfilled arrow) fades away (low room temperature raises to the original room temperature).
This simply says, when the room temperature is low (during winter), cooler are not used.
