① Let's say, summer came. Room temperature raises due to the summer heat. A Heater raises room temperature. These are in the same direction (red).

② Because these are in the same direction, negative feedback inhibits (blue) the heater (function, such as by turning the power off). This weakens the room temperature-elevating effect of the heater, and the rise in room temperature disappears (high room temperature lowers to the original room temperature).


This simply says, when the room temperature is high (during summer), heaters are not used.
